Michael P. Bernstein, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Bernstein attended SUNY Buffalo, where he graduated in 1975.  He received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel in 1984.  He completed his Medical Residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine in 1987.  He then completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY in 1989. 

Dr. Bernstein is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovasular Disease.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Medical Society of the County of Albany.  He is on the medical staffs of St. Peter's Hospital, Albany Memorial Hospital, Childs Hospital and Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Bernstein's cardiology specialities include general cardiovascular disease with a special interest in echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography,and cardiac catheterization.
